Contest time! UPDATED

EDIT: Hey guy's, just dropping in to let you all know that a deadline has been decided! I know you've all been waiting to hear when it ends so the due date is now July 20th. Thanks for your your entries and patience!


I am going to be hosting a contest. As you may know I am hosting another contest through . A contest regarding a unique design of my OC Grimstone, and his moth-dragon companion. Besides that I will be hosting a new contest here.

The Basics:

  This contest will be about a line of weapons, for the same OC. There are four categories you can submit to. Or just one, totally up to you. There aren't very many guidelines, you can design the weapon however you wish. As long as it fits a category its a go. You have a lot of artistic freedom so just go with what you think looks cool/suits the character! Judging will be based on design of course, but mainly how eye catching it is and how well it fits the character. Also judging on creativity. For example, a rainbow sword, will have a difficult time placing. As it doesn't fit the character well at all. So keep that in mind when designing. It should be a dark fantasy type weapon. Prizes will be given for each separate category.

Categories:

- Straight bladed Sword.
    This can be a longsword(Interchangeable from two handed to single handed) but it needs to have a straight blade with a symmetrical look.
- Dual Khopesh
    These would be identical so youd only need to draw one, keep the design unique from the standard simple Khopesh if u please.
- Axe Scythe
   These are primarily Axe's with a scythe head on the reverse, single handed. Like the concept on my own DA gallery.
- Long Shafted/Two handed
       Twinblade or glaive, large two handed scythe, staff(magical or melee weapon)

Rules:

- You may not steal, trace, copy someone elses art, meaning no making an axe of someone's (unique)design, adding a skull, and call it your own(unless it is mine copy my work all you want... even though there is a severe lack of my own stuff).
- Id like to avoid bases but if you feel you really need one just ask the artist you wish to take from, and give credit where due.
- You may submit as many entries as you wish to any or all of the categories.

        References for Straight Blade:  IMPORTANT: Bottom line only in the first image, and not including ANY swords with curved tips.


       References for Khopesh: Pretty universal over all shape, looking primarily for hilt/extra designs.


       References for Axe Scythe: Doesn't have to be exactly like this. Be as creative as you like.

I think everyone knows what a spear/halberd/pike looks like. I do not want to riddle the entire page with images(rendering this contest page... unappealing).
